REPRODUCED H1 17/17=1.0 supported (CONFIRMATORY; point estimate ≥ 0.60); strict MATERIALIZED-only 14/17=0.8235; agreement gate PASS (4-category raw 0.9412, hit/miss raw 1.0, n=17); separate-context verification: verified (REPRODUCED) S15, verified with fixes, Nov 6, 2026
Claim
Of 17 predictions extracted under a frozen rule, 14 were coded MATERIALIZED and 3 PARTIAL for events dated 2022-11-01 through 2026-11-06: p_hit = 1.0 (Wilson 95% CI 0.8157 to 1.0); strict p_mat = 0.8235 (Wilson 95% CI 0.5897 to 0.9381). Each row records whether a legal event happened, not whether it was good.

- Data
- CourtListener opinions, dockets and RECAP documents; Idaho and Washington legislature sites; the Pennsylvania Crimes Code (§ 3211, legis.state.pa.us); the Federal Register (VA final rule, 89 Fed. Reg. 15451); supremecourt.gov; governor sites; Guttmacher's state table (as of Sept 17, 2026); all fetched 2026-11-06 and hashed in raw/MANIFEST.json. Three rows are flagged secondary-only (P05, P15; P14 partly primary).

- Coder B, a separate agent context of the same model family, coded all 17 rows without Coder A's codes (labels sha256 31321a49d34d…): 4-category raw agreement 0.9412, hit/miss 1.0 → PASS. The only disagreement (P16) went to a separate-context adjudicator, who coded it MATERIALIZED (robustness only; confirmatory code stays PARTIAL). Separate-context verification: REPRODUCED.

Key numbers
COMPUTED means this study's code on the pinned data. REPORTED is taken from the cited source. REPORTED-VERIFIER was computed by the verifier, a separate agent context of the same model family. POST-HOC and EXPLORATORY were not preregistered as tests.

Method
- 163 forward-looking sentences selected by a frozen regex; each coded INCLUDE or one of seven exclusion codes; 25 sentences map to 17 predictions.
- Each prediction has written MATERIALIZED / PARTIAL / NOT criteria fixed before any outcome search; window 2022-11-01 to 2026-11-06.
- Coder A coded outcomes from primary sources; Coder B, a separate agent context of the same model family, coded all 17 without Coder A's codes.
- H1 confirmatory: (MATERIALIZED + PARTIAL)/17 ≥ 0.60 on the point estimate; Wilson CI reported.
limits
Limits
- Tier I0: Coder A is the author context; Coder B, the adjudicator and the verifier are separate agent contexts of the same model family. The author knew post-Dobbs history when extracting.
- P16: Coder A's search missed the VA final rule "Reproductive Health Services" (89 Fed. Reg. 15451, Mar 4, 2024; rescinded effective Jan 30, 2026), which authorized abortions at VA facilities under a claim that conflicting state law is preempted. Coder B, the adjudicator and the verifier read it as meeting the federal-land strand; under that reading p_mat = 15/17 = 0.8824.
- A few excluded sentences are arguable inclusions (all likely hits); P13 and P17 come from conditional sentences whose antecedent happened, while other conditionals were excluded.
- Several predictions were near-certain once stated; read p_mat and the per-row table, not only p_hit.
- PARTIAL counts as a hit by the preregistered rule; n = 17.
- Three rows are flagged secondary-only: P05 (news reports), P15 (Guttmacher table as of Sept 17, 2026) and P14 (statute confirms the 24-week limit; absence of other bans rests on the tracker).
- One qualifying event satisfies a row; the study does not measure how widespread each practice became.
falsifiers
What would change the verdict
- Under the same frozen list and criteria, p_hit below 0.60 on the point estimate.
