Enforcement-effect studies
Status: In progress. Court-decision studies only.
Summary
Studies of what changes after a court or agency acts. Two court-decision studies so far: contract drafting after Grafton Partners, and citation after congressional overrides compared with Court overrulings. A planned lane on FTC and state attorney general privacy actions against archived privacy-policy changes is parked and has no data.
Scope
- Each study uses a preregistered difference-in-differences or event design with a control group.
- Agency-enforcement work will start only when the lane is reopened.
Method
Every hub follows the same method: hashed inputs, preregistered measures, a second-annotator check where labels matter, and a verifier in a separate agent context before anything is called a result.
